Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research organization to design task-specific grading criteria for real-world banking deliverables. You will score AI-generated and human work samples, providing rigorous written justifications for every score and ensuring judgments are reproducible and defensible.

The role emphasizes clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to iterate with senior reviewers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional investment banking experience (associate level or above).
• Strong written communication and ability to justify scoring decisions.
• Proficiency in three-statement modeling (DCF, LBO, comps).
• Experience with deal materials and formatting to bank-quality standards.
• Experience with AI training, evaluation, or human-data projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design precise, task-specific grading criteria for real-world banking deliverables (financial models, valuation analyses, pitch decks and CIMs, deal memos, board and committee materials).
• Score AI-generated and human work samples against criteria with detailed written justifications.
• Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment to ensure scores are reproducible and defensible.
• Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers and iterate quickly on your work.
