Job summary

InternSG is seeking a proactive analyst to assist on M&A and Private Credit deals. You will support due diligence, financial modelling, and market analysis to evaluate potential investments.

You will collaborate with the investment team, prepare client-facing pitch materials, and help structure transactions across corporate finance solutions, including debt instruments and equity opportunities. Strong academic background and past internships required.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record in finance, economics, or technical fields.
• Previous internship experience in relevant finance roles.
• Excellent ability to build financial models.
• Excellent research, analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in execution of M&A and Private Credit deals.
• Conduct due diligence including sourcing, market analysis, and modelling.
• Assess lenders’ creditworthiness and structure private deals.
• Prepare pitch materials and engage in client discussions.
• Support transaction structuring across M&A, debt, and equity solutions.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Job description

Job scope:

• Assist in the execution of M&A and Private Credit deals.
• Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including sourcing, market and industry analysis, qualification, financial modelling, and integration activities.
• Collaborate with the investment team to assess corporate lenders’ creditworthiness and structure private credit deals, including negotiation of terms, agreements, and securitisation.
• Prepare and present pitch materials for client meetings, actively engage in client discussions, and coordinate transaction evaluation and pricing.
• Actively participate in structuring transactions for strategic advisory encompassing various solutions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt instruments and equity solutions.
• Any additional ad-hoc tasks required.

Applicant Pre-requisites:

• Strong academic achievements in an under/post-graduate degree in a technical or analytical discipline (i.e., Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or any other related fields).
• Past relevant internship experience
• Excellent research and analytical skills with attention to detail and understanding of building financial models.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
