Job description

  • Permanent headcount, based in Singapore

Responsibilities would include:

  • Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies
  • Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing, debt capital markets or M&A transactions
  • General sector coverage
  • Regional coverage: Southeast Asia
  • Support the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
  • Support the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions including due diligence and drafting of documents
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets
  • Research and analysis of markets and industries, companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
  • Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank, internal and external stakeholders

Profile of ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance advisory/ M&A/ Big 4 / Corporate / Buyside/ Private equity
  • Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
  • Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
  • Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
