Your role:

Are you a strong analytical and inventive thinker? Do you enjoy developing customized ideas and solutions for private equity firms, clients and investors?

We’re looking for someone who can:

1. be part of a business that provides integrated advisory and fundraising solutions for private equity firms, secondary market participants and real estate owners, developers and investors
2. be involved in complex secondary advisory assignments across a broad range of industries (our clients represent all sectors – generalist, financial services, tech, energy, consumer products, real estate, etc.) and investment perspectives (buyout, growth equity, venture, special situations, emerging markets, etc.)
3. conduct detailed qualitative and quantitative analyses on private equity firms, institutional investors and their respective portfolio strategies
4. effectively position and communicate our client's investment case to potential investors
5. develop pitch book presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options and recommend strategies to meet client goals
6. generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
7. identify and meet client needs, coordinating and working alongside colleagues and investors
8. join a high-performing team of like-minded professionals with the drive to contribute to the fast-growing secondary market and build a track record of deals

As a member of the Private Funds Group (PFG), you’ll be working in the Alternative Capital Group ("ACG") within Global Banking, providing global advisory services for private fund sponsors and their investors. In this role you will gain in depth knowledge on industry sectors and clients, and work alongside a team providing comprehensive advisory services. You’ll play an important role in advising clients on a range of market and strategic matters, including primary capital raises and secondary market solutions.

Your expertise:

1. a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, MBA is preferred but not required
2. good understanding and hands-on exposure to private equity and/or other alternative asset classes
3. multiple years of experience in a similar position or related financial services position or in investment management
4. a solid understanding of the private equity market and secondary / continuation fund market
5. familiarity performing detailed financial and valuation analyses and utilizing financial services industry databases and tools
6. able to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities
