Our Client

NextWave Partners is working with a private equity backed renewable company focused on solar wind and battery storage.

Our client specialises in the development, financing, and management of renewable energy projects.

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the identification, analysis, and execution of renewable energy investment opportunities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on meaningful projects in the renewable energy sector and contribute to the growth of clean energy in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Analysis

• Conduct financial modelling and analysis for potential renewable energy projects
• Perform due diligence on investment opportunities, including market research, financial assessments, and risk analysis
• Assist in preparing investment memos and presentations for senior management and investment committees
• Analyse operational data of existing assets and financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement and potential risks

Transaction Execution

• Support the execution of investment transactions, including term sheets, contracts, and financing agreements
• Coordinate with legal, technical, and financial advisors to ensure successful transaction closure
• Manage and maintain detailed transaction documentation and records

Market Research

• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector

Stakeholder Communication

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, developers, and industry partners
• Communicate financial concepts and investment strategies effectively to both internal and external parties

Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, project/corporate finance, or a similar role, preferably with prior exposure to renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
