Job summary

A financial investment firm in Singapore is seeking an Investment Analyst to perform investment analyses and manage portfolios. Job description

The Investment Analyst will be responsible for conducting investment analysis, research, and execution in public equity and private credit, financial modeling, portfolio management, and providing financial insights and recommendations. He/she will work closely with the investment team to evaluate potential investment opportunities and assist in the execution of investment strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Perform financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projects and recommend investment decisions.
  2. Develop an investment policy aligned with the company strategy and establish investment criteria for evaluating prospective projects.
  3. Create complex financial models and analyze legal documents to enhance return on investment and financial planning.
  4. Prepare financial documents for presentation to potential and current investors.
  5. Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds to diversify portfolios.
  6. Coordinate with fund managers, legal advisors, traders, stockbrokers, and regulators to expand funding access and improve market perception.
  7. Conduct industry market research and gather intelligence to improve fund management.
  8. Ensure compliance with all investment regulations.
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Knowledge of investments, finance, and corporate finance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
