Reporting to the Head of Commercial / Strategic Partnerships, this role will play a key part in supporting Sunway’s investment and asset management activities.

What We Are Looking For:

• Support the development and execution of investment strategies for the UK Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) portfolio and other international assets.
• Conduct financial modelling, market research, and strategic analysis to support investment decision-making.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of annual business plans and long-term portfolio strategies.
• Underwrite potential investments, acquisitions, and divestments by conducting detailed financial, market, and risk assessments.
• Prepare investment proposals, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Monitor and manage portfolio performance, including asset valuation, revenue generation, and net property income (NPI) targets.
• Support the execution of capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans and track project progress to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Provide timely and relevant insights to enhance portfolio optimisation and value creation.
• Participate in strategic planning discussions and engage with cross-functional teams to align investment goals with broader development plans.
• Support and track the performance of Sunway’s stake in Elite UK REIT.
• Explore and assess new investment opportunities in key growth markets.
• Handle other investment-related assignments and special projects as required.

Key Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience in investment analysis, asset management, real estate investment, corporate finance, or related fields.
• Stakeholder Management & Analytical Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience preparing investment papers and presenting to senior management.
• Drive: Driven, commercially minded, and comfortable working across geographies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
