Job description

We at Artha Energy Resources are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will support in evaluating potential investments and conducting market and financial research to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Expert knowledge of understanding complex financial modelling, including DCF and IRR valuation methods.
• Proficient in creating investor decks, monthly investor updates, and MIS reports.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant information for reports and decks.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong knowledge of finance, including analyzing balance sheets, P&L statements, cash flow statements, and detailed schedules from audited reports.
• Assess the creditworthiness of potential customers and evaluate past and current debt transactions.
• Analyze risk factors related to potential customers' business models and industry.
• Prepare and submit reports and MIS to investors and management monthly on portfolio and organizational performance.
• Schedule and lead investor update calls regularly.
• Analyze and determine IRRs for new investments and collaborate with the sales team for deal closures.
• Research and develop a database of potential investors.
• Assist the fundraising SPOC with data from pitching to closing investors.
• Coordinate with the legal team regarding investor onboarding, documentation, term sheets, and final agreements such as shareholder and subscription agreements.
