The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Investigations Lead to join our dynamic compliance and risk management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and conducting internal investigations related to financial misconduct, regulatory breaches, fraud, whistleblower complaints, and other ethical or compliance-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and oversee investigations into allegations of misconduct, fraud, policy violations, financial irregularities, and regulatory non-compliance.
  • Case Management: Manage case intake, triage, investigation strategy, documentation, and resolution for all investigative matters.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams (Legal, HR, IT, Compliance) and external counsel or regulators where necessary.
  • Evidence Gathering: Collect, review, and analyze documents, communications, financial data, and digital evidence.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive investigative reports, clearly articulating findings, root causes, and recommended remediation steps.

You must:

  • A bachelors degree in a reputable university
  • 3 years of experience in an Investigations role – ideally from an Insurance / Financial Advisory firm
  • Adaptable and able to work in a lean environment
  • Ability to lead a team
