Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Research Analyst to join our team. This junior-level role is responsible for conducting comprehensive financial and market research to support investment decisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, a sound understanding of financial concepts, a proactive approach to cross-functional collaboration and active involvement in marketing activities, investor engagement, and international exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on companies, sectors, and broader market trends

• Analyse financial statements, earnings reports, and market data to assess potential investments

• Develop and maintain financial models and perform valuation analyses (DCF, comparable, and precedent transactions)

• Prepare insightful investment research reports and presentations

• Preparation of marketing materials, pitchbooks and factsheets

• Assist in the development of content for investor newsletters, performance updates

• Participate in meetings and calls with potential investors, providing data-backed insights

• Monitor macroeconomic indicators, geopolitical developments, and regulatory changes affecting market and industries

• Collaborate with the investment team to support due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and thematic research

• Maintain organized databases of financial information and research outputs

• Collaborate across teams to deliver timely, high-quality research and insights

Preferred Skills and Experience

• International work experience or academic exposure preferred

• Experience or demonstrated interest in marketing, communications, or investor relations

• Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis

• Proficiency in preparing visually compelling pitch decks, investor presentations, fund fact sheets, and other marketing collateral

• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with financial databases and research platforms (e.g., Bloomberg)

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI and some AI tools.

• Outstanding communication skills - fluency in English, Spanish, and at least two Indian languages

• Ability to synthesize large volumes of data and translate into practical recommendations

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Sound knowledge of global macroeconomics, asset classes, and market drivers
