Job summary

Maersk is seeking a warehouse associate in Singapore to perform daily activities including receiving, picking and packing goods, and supporting stock control. The role requires operating MHE such as forklift and reach truck, scanning with RDT devices, and performing regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.

The candidate should be able to carry heavy loads, walk and stand for long periods, and maintain a safe, clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum Secondary Level/ITE or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to carry heavy goods, long hours of walking and standing.
• Experience operating MHE such as Forklift, Reach Truck, and/or Order Picker.
• Possess a valid forklift license; work-at-height license is a plus.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Positive attitude and good team player.
• Maintain safety, health and operational quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily warehouse activities such as receiving, picking and packing goods.
• Assist in warehouse inventory by organizing and maintaining stock levels, labeling and shelving items, conducting stock counts and updating records.
• Loading and unloading of containers, sorting incoming goods and handling returns.
• Use the RDT scanner to scan pallets.
• Perform weekly/monthly stock counts and ensure inventory movement and accuracy.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and hazard-free.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
