Job summary

Al Shukr is seeking an organized storekeeper to manage stock, staff coordination, and promotional planning for the store. You will oversee goods receipt, inventory, and store operations to ensure accurate records and smooth daily workflows.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in retail management or related field, with solid experience in retail management or sales, strong English communication, and proficiency in MS Office. This role requires flexibility to work during opening hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in retail management, marketing, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and budgeting processes.
• Proven ability to develop and implement retail promotion strategies.
• Positive, friendly, and organized.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work within opening hours (evenings, holidays, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Receive and forward all types of goods and deliveries to storage area.
• Follow standards for issuing and receiving stock.
• Monitor and inventory regularly to compile orders based on par levels.
• Maintain records for reports and invoices.
• Monitor PALs for food items to ensure proper levels.
• Verify goods arrived as per purchase and delivery notes.
• Store food & beverage and operational stock.
• Check storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
• Refuse damaged or incorrect items.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in storage areas.
• Ensure requisitions are signed by HODs.
• Match requested vs issued quantities.
• Sign requisitions and enter into MMS.
• Post invoices using MMS.
• Communicate clearly and professionally.
• Follow internal controls and procedures after-hours.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures for F&B.
• Conduct inventory audits and reports.
• Assist Accounts Payable in cost discrepancies.
• Complete requisition forms and update MMS daily.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to order and receive items.
• Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee returns.
• Track received inventory and maintain logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
