Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an Inventory Controller to manage inventory and improve control procedures. The role requires a diploma and experience in inventory management or warehouse operations. Candidates should be proficient in inventory software and Microsoft Office. Immediate availability is a plus. Competitive salary up to $3.5k plus AWS.

Inventory Controller (Supply Chain / Inventory / Warehouse Operations / WMS)

Location: Tuas (Company transport at Jurong East MRT)

Working hours: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm; Sat (WFH, standby) 8.30am - 12.30pm

Salary: Up to $3.5k + AWS

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Maintain precise inventory records of raw materials, spare parts and tools through regular cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.

Data Entry & Reporting: Update inventory databases accurately and prepare comprehensive reports on inventory status and trends.

Quality Control: Oversee the inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with company standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to facilitate inventory movements and address issues promptly.

Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to inventory control procedures and systems.

Documentation: Keep detailed and organized records of all inventory transactions and adjustments.

Perform other ad-hoc duties & responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Education: Diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is advantageous.

Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role is required. Experience in Accounts Assistant role is also accepted.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Words

Willing to work in Tuas, company transport provided at Jurong East MRT pick up point.

Able to start work immediately is an advantage.
