Job description

We are looking for an Inventory Controller with experience in inventory management (e.g. stocktaking, receiving of incoming goods), managing inventory documents and records management.

You must be comfortable traveling to Loyang, Changi and working in a non-air condition environment.

A day in the life of an Inventory Controller

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming stock in the inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels and update stock records regularly
  • Handle purchasing tasks, including sourcing, price comparisons, and issuing purchase orders
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Track and verify deliveries against orders
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of inventory and purchasing records
  • Work closely with operations and plant teams to forecast material needs
  • Prepare and despatch outgoing goods / items to assigned locations/countries.
  • Perform inventory cycle count and stocktaking duties for monthly accuracy
  • Record inventory movement, generate and analyse monthly inventory status/closing.
  • Ensure proper scheduling, recordkeeping, and inventory control for spare parts.
  • Keeping track of Yard’s weekly purchase expenses and monthly spares/repair provisions.
  • Execute proper Goods Receipt (GRN) process
  • Assist in evaluation of supplier performance based on company procurement standards.
  • Help to implement internal procurement initiatives
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.

You will need:

  • GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; A diploma In logistics/Supply Chain Management will be advantageous
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience in a logistics environment, preferably in construction
