- Responsibilities:Conducts intraoperative neuromonitoring procedures intra-operation
Ensures high-quality patient-related procedures adhering to guidelines and technical standards.
Proficient in technical aspects of intraoperative neuromonitoring.
Performs procedures such as evoked potentials (EP), electroencephalograms (EEG), and electromyography (EMG).
Works independently with indirect supervision from a physician.
Analyzes data during recording to ensure valid and interpretable information.
Knowledgeable in clinical neurology
Available for after-hour calls for urgently needed procedures
Monitors neurophysiologic central/peripheral functioning throughout operative procedures and communicates clinically significant events
- Qualifications:Relevant certification or experience
Proficiency in intraoperative neuromonitoring techniques.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with medical staff
- Purpose: To detect injuries during surgical procedures using electromyography, electroencephalography (EEG), and other monitoring technologies.
