The job as Intraday Trader

As an Intraday Trader you will play a vital role in our trading team, assisting with trading and ensuring that all operational processes run smoothly. You’ll take part in the development and execution of trading strategies and the continuous analysis of market trends to identify profitable opportunities. You will be responsible for monitoring real-time data, making quick decisions, and collaborating with the team to ensure we seize the right market opportunities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the energy trading industry.

We do not expect you to have experience in energy trading, but you should have a deep desire to learn and find trading interesting. If you have grit and hunger, we promise tailored training from some of the industry’s best traders and guarantee a fun work environment, a steep learning curve, and a unique career opportunity within intraday trading.

The work will vary and include weekend work. You should expect every 3rd weekend. You will receive 1-2 months of training in Denmark during April and May.

Your key responsibilities

• Covering a full-time position as part of the shift schedule mentioned above
• Daily trading and optimization of trading positions from both traders and algos
• Define and help implement new trading strategies
• Continuous risk evaluation of trader and algo positions
• Always question status quo
• Share insights to optimize and rethink trading tools

Your qualifications and personal skills

• An interest in financial markets, stock trading, sports betting or similar
• Have a competitive mindset and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment with the next deadline always coming up
• The ability and interest to learn about complex systems and methods – quickly
• A positive and competitive person with grit and at the same time, a great team player
• Can be direct with your colleagues and being able to receive direct constructive feedback
• Most importantly, a result-oriented mindset, always striving to be the best
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, as our company language is English
