Overview
This internship offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between Operations, Engineering, and Learning & Development. You will work alongside Subject Matter Experts and functional partners to understand how competency standards, training programs, and digital tools are designed to prepare the workforce for future business needs. You will contribute to digitalization projects, analyze training effectiveness data, and support knowledge management initiatives that drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Competency Framework Support
- Assist in maintaining and updating competency frameworks, skill taxonomies, and proficiency matrices for Backend functions.
- Support documentation of technical and behavioral competency standards, including defining evidence requirements for assessments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather inputs for New Employee Training Programs and structured learning pathways.
- Conduct research on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep competency frameworks current and relevant.
- Training & Content Development Assistance
- Support SMEs in designing and developing technical learning solutions, including e‑learning modules, microlearning content, and digital training materials.
- Help maintain training catalogs and knowledge repositories to ensure learning materials are organized, current, and accessible.
- Assist in coordinating training deployment activities and supporting administrative tasks for learning events.
- Contribute to the creation of engaging digital communication content, such as infographics, short videos, or promotional materials for learning campaigns.
- Data Analytics & Digitalization Support
- Assist in enhancing existing data workflows using tools such as KNIME and Tableau.
- Help extract, clean, and consolidate workforce capability data to support management reporting.
- Monitor competency assessment progress and training compliance data, identifying trends or gaps for review.
- Support the development of user‑friendly dashboards to visualize training effectiveness and workforce readiness metrics.
Learning Opportunities

- Analysis of competency and compliance data to surface gaps and insights.
- Creation of dashboards that communicate training effectiveness and workforce readiness.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Education
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Students in their final year or recent graduates (within six months) are encouraged to apply.
- Preferred Experience & Knowledge
- Academic projects or coursework related to competency modeling, workforce planning, or instructional design.
- Basic familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or data automation tools (KNIME, Python, Excel Power Query).
- Interest in AI‑enabled solutions, digital learning platforms, or semiconductor/high‑tech manufacturing processes.
- Experience creating content using digital tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, video editing basics).
