Job summary

OCBC invites you to join the Business Performance & Analysis team as an Intern in Singapore. You will gain hands-on experience in business performance management, financial reporting, and project collaboration within the Secured and Unsecured Loans businesses.

You will work with finance professionals to monitor performance, support reporting processes, and contribute to transformation initiatives, while developing skills in data analytics and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Open to learning and feedback.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of BI tools is a plus.
• Pursuing degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support monthly business performance reports for Secured and Unsecured Loans.
• Track and analyse KPIs to provide insights into business trends and drivers.
• Assist with journal entries and month-end closing documentation.
• Support strategic projects and transformation initiatives.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing for the Cards Replatform project.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve processes using Power BI and data analytics.
• Collaborate with finance, business, and project teams on reporting requirements.
• Provide support on ad-hoc financial analysis and planning activities.

What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Business Performance Reporting: prepare and support monthly business performance reports for the Secured and Unsecured Loans businesses
• Performance Analytics: track and analyse key performance indicators to provide insights into business trends and performance drivers
• Financial Management Support: assist with the preparation of journal entries and supporting documentation for month‑end financial closing activities
• Strategic Projects: support business initiatives and transformation projects that drive operational efficiency and business growth
• Cards Replatform Programme: assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to support the successful implementation of the Cards Replatform project
• Process Improvement & Automation: identify opportunities to improve existing reporting and operational processes through automation, Power BI solutions, and data analytics tools
• Stakeholder Collaboration: work closely with finance, business, and project teams to support reporting requirements and project deliverables
• Ad‑hoc Tasks: provide support on other financial analysis, reporting, and planning activities as assigned

Within CFS Finance, the Business Performance & Analysis team partners closely with business units to provide financial insights, monitor performance, and support strategic decision‑making.

You’ll work alongside finance professionals, business stakeholders, and project teams, gaining valuable exposure to how financial analysis, performance management, and business planning contribute to the success of the bank’s consumer lending businesses.
