Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Singapore offers an AI Engineering internship within the Center of Competence Analytics. You will contribute to AI, data analytics, and enterprise AI workflows, gaining hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and data pipelines.

You will collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists, design production-ready analytics solutions, build AI-enabled applications, and learn enterprise AI lifecycle while developing strong software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI app development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists on ML/DL/LLM projects.
• Apply statistical analysis and data visualization to reveal insights from large datasets.

As part of the AI Engineering team within the Center of Competence Analytics, the intern will contribute to innovative digital transformation initiatives focused on Agentic AI, Hybrid Customer Journey optimization, and Supply Chain & Quality Analytics. The role offers hands-on exposure to the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions that create measurable business impact.

Your role

• AI Project Collaboration: Collaborate with experienced AI engineers and data scientists on projects involving Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, Conversational AI, and AI Inference.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to uncover insights from large and complex datasets.
• Solution Design & Deployment: Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI and analytics solutions following industry best practices.
• AI-Enabled Application Development: Build and maintain software applications that integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into business processes.
• Scalable AI Systems Engineering: Contribute to scalable, efficient, and real-time AI systems while ensuring high standards of data quality and engineering excellence.
• Solution Operations & Support: Support solution operations through troubleshooting, debugging, enhancement requests, and continuous improvement activities.
• Data Pipeline Development: Develop data pipelines and frameworks to ingest, process, and manage data from diverse enterprise sources.

Your profile

• Educational Background: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python and a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
• GenAI & Agentic AI Experience: Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, RAG, and AI application development.
• AI Frameworks & Tools: Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
• AI Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of prompt engineering, AI agent orchestration, vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval systems.
• Cloud & DevOps Exposure: Exposure to REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers (Docker/OpenShift), and modern application development practices.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a passion for building production-grade Agentic AI solutions.
