Job summary

BDO LLP in Singapore is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to plan and perform internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong internal controls. You will prepare working papers, report findings, and advise clients on process enhancements while managing multiple engagements.

The role requires MAS regulatory awareness, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently or in teams, with flexibility to learn and grow within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications recognized by ISCA.
• 1–2 years of experience in external and internal audit.
• Solid knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements and current developments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and perform internal audits of financial and operational processes within budgets.
• Provide risk advisory audit support on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Prepare detailed working papers and supporting documents.
• Prepare internal audit reports with observations and recommendations on processes and controls.
• Be involved in audit planning and fieldwork; inform engagement managers on status.
• Present audit findings and advise on regulatory compliance improvements.
• Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Able to work independently or in teams; be coachable.
• Other duties as directed by managers.
