Job summary

Income Insurance Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced Internal Auditor to plan and lead risk-based audits, shaping engagements from start to finish. You will design and test controls, present findings, and monitor remediation with a focus on value addition.

You will build strong relationships with 1st and 2nd line of defence, coordinate with 3rd party audit resources, and contribute to major business initiatives while maintaining high standards under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Business or finance related field or recognized professional qualification (ACA/ACCA).
• Minimum 5 years of audit experience, preferably in financial sectors including insurance or investment.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies and risk-based audits.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage senior management.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to work under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead internal audit projects as defined in the risk-based Audit Plan.
• Plan audit engagements, design and test controls, present findings and follow up remediation.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness, and manage remediation activities.
• Communicate root causes and risks, and include recommendations for improvements.
• Build relationships with 1st and 2nd line of defence to identify red flags.
• Manage 3rd party audit resources where applicable.
• Participate in major business initiatives and advise on change initiatives.
