Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking an Intern in Sustainability (Recycling & Recovery) to gain hands-on experience addressing waste and recycling challenges across the resort. You will support RSA compliance efforts and sustainability goals, working with cross-functional teams.

You will assist in planning waste projects, run training on segregation, help analyze waste data, and contribute to communications for sustainability updates to stakeholders, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be from related academic disciplines in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or Project and Facilities Management.
• Ability to analyze data and articulate business value of sustainability.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience addressing waste and recycling-related challenges across Marina Bay Sands.
• Assist in planning and executing waste and recycling projects, including innovation pilots (POCs).
• Support waste segregation trainings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare communications materials for sustainability updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in kitchen inspections to observe RSA compliance and recycling practices.
• Research leading sustainability innovations applicable to Marina Bay Sands.
• Support corporate sustainability projects (cross-property audits, etc).
