Job summary

Singapore Business Federation seeks an Intern in Sustainability Communications & Engagement for Jan-Jun 2027 to help manage NetZeroHub.sg, engage partners, and support governance and ASEAN-level discussions on sustainability. You will work with NZTPO and industry partners to develop practical skills in digital platform management, stakeholder engagement and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage NetZeroHub.sg content updates and data quality.
• Support data collection improvements and KPI reporting.
• Identify and engage potential partners for NetZeroHub.sg and Bulletin newsletter.
• Assist business development, communications and marketing campaigns for NetZeroHub.sg.
• Coordinate with public and private sector stakeholders for sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare materials for Governance Committee meetings and SIG-related actions.
• Coordinate ASEAN27 initiatives and track action items.

Job description

Intern, Sustainability Communications & Engagement (Jan - Jun 2027)

As our Intern (Sustainability Communications & Engagement), you will help manage NetZeroHub.sg, a national sustainability platform, engage partners and stakeholders across the public and private sectors, and support governance and ASEAN-level discussions on sustainability, working alongside the Net Zero Transition Programme Office and industry partners. You will gain practical skills in digital platform management, stakeholder engagement and project coordination, and see first‑hand how Singapore is driving business decarbonisation at home and across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the backend management of NetZeroHub.sg, including content updates, data entry, and quality assurance checks, ensuring that information on the platform remains accurate and up to date.
• Clean, maintain, and manage user data on NetZeroHub.sg, and support improvements to data collection processes, system functionality, and KPI reporting.
• Identify and engage potential partners for NetZeroHub.sg, including organisations interested in featuring their initiatives, resources, or events on the platform and in the Bulletin newsletter.
• Support business development, communications, and marketing initiatives for NetZeroHub.sg, including publicity campaigns and outreach efforts to attract new users and increase recurring traffic.
• Support engagement and coordination with public and private sector stakeholders, including meetings, workshops, and outreach activities related to sustainability‑agenda initiatives within Net Zero Transition Programme Office (NZTPO).
• Support Singapore Emission Factors Registry (SEFR)-related initiatives, including coordinating and preparing materials for Governance Committee (GC) meetings, maintaining meeting records, and following up on action items.
• Support ASEAN27 initiatives, including coordinating and preparing materials for related industry engagements and discussions, maintaining meeting records, and following up on action items.
  

Requirements

• Preferably pursuing studies in Environmental Science, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
• Keen interest in sustainability, communications and project management
• Must be able to commit to a full‑time internship for a minimum of five months starting from Jan 2027
