Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a motivated intern for the BioAnalytical LC/MS team in Singapore. You will receive GLP/GCP training, gain hands-on experience operating LC-MS/MS, and contribute to method development and validation within a collaborative lab environment.

The internship runs Jan to Jun 2027 for at least 20 weeks, is onsite, and offers paid compensation. Final-year students are preferred, but all students pursuing relevant fields are encouraged to apply.

• Current enrollment in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences Bachelor's degree program.
• Final-year students expected to graduate in Jul/Aug 2027 preferred; all levels welcome to apply.

Internship Details

• Duration: at least 20 weeks, full-time (Onsite)
• Dates of Internship: Jan - Jun 2027
• Compensation: Paid internship
• Eligibility: Final-year students who are expected to graduate in Jul/Aug 2027 are preferred. However, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.

Internship Assignment Summary

• GLP (good laboratory practice) and GCP (good clinical practice) training.
• Extract analytes from complicated matrix using various techniques, e.g., PPT, LLE, SLE, SPE.
• Operation of Liquid Chromatography with Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
• Sets up, operates and performs routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment.
• Performs a full method validation.
• Evaluates data for report preparation and experiment modification as directed.
• Performs sample analysis for samples from clinical trial.
• Assists in setting up method development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current enrollment in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences Bachelor's degree program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic lab skills e.g. pipetting
• 3 months or more relevant experience with hands-on wet chemistry experiment.

Additional Job Standards

• Familiarity with analytical chemistry.
• Good organization and multitasking ability.
• Able to communicate effectively with excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Adaptive to highly regulated routine laboratory work.
