Job summary

KONE invites interns to gain hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain within a global, dynamic environment. You will work on meaningful projects, supported by mentorship and on-the-job training that build a solid foundation for your career in a multinational company.

You will develop procurement skills, learn how to manage requisitions, POs, and supplier data, while contributing to compliant purchasing processes and ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Internship position in a relevant field is preferred (e.g., Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering).
• Willingness to learn and contribute to real business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, process and convert purchase requisitions and purchase orders to ensure data accuracy and supplier compliance.
• Clarify item pricing, terms, and conditions with purchasers according to framework agreements.
• Review order confirmations and coordinate PO updates with stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

• Monitor, process and convert purchase requisitions & purchase order to ensure compliance with approved/preferred suppliers and the accuracy of material and supplier master data in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support business requestors by clarifying item pricing, terms, and conditions in accordance with framework agreements established by the Purchasing team
• Review and manage order confirmation discrepancies, coordinating with stakeholders to update purchase orders as required.
• To support in new vendor registration process
• Promote and maintain compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate standard statistical and other reports to support operational and compliance requirements.
• To support the service and product sourcing process
