Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a strong Electrical Engineering graduate to join our advanced failure analysis team.

You will analyze NAND defectivity Pareto charts, perform electrical failure analysis using lab tools, and apply AI-assisted methods to improve efficiency and quality across memory products. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, know NAND device physics, and can communicate effectively in English while managing multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
• Knowledge of NAND Flash Device Physics is preferred.
• Programming languages Python/C/C++ beneficial.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze NAND defectivity pareto to enable qualification of world class end products (Mobile, Consumer SSD, Enterprise SSD).
• Perform electrical failure analysis (EFA) to solve technical problems using lab tools and techniques.
• Exposure to DPM counter measures via stresses/screens, applying circuit, device physics, and process knowledge.
• Drive Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) and Root Cause Analysis.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within scope.

Scope of project:

• Analyze NAND defectivity(DPM) pareto to enable qualification of world class end products (Mobile, Consumer SSD, Enterprise SSD)


• Perform electrical failure analysis(EFA) to solve technical problems using lab tools and techniques


• Exposure to DPM counter measures in the form of stresses/screens by exercising Digital and Analog Circuit, Device Physics, Process Engineering knowledge


• Drive Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) and Root Cause Analysis.


• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.


• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Electrical EngineeringOR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering


• Understanding of NAND Flash Device Physics, Memory Design and fundamental Semiconductor processing is an added advantage.


• Knowledge of Programming Languages such as Python/C/C++


• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English


• Good multitasking skills and ability to set priorities in a fast moving, dynamic environment


• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills


• Self-motivation and enthusiasm
