Job summary

St John Singapore is seeking a Marketing Intern to support communications and outreach as we grow our programmes and connect more people with our initiatives.

You will gain hands-on experience across the full marketing function, including content creation for social media, newsletters, event promotion and basic design, while working directly with our team and partners.

Qualifications

• Interest in marketing, communications, or nonprofit work.
• Comfortable with social media platforms and basic design tools (Canva/Adobe).
• Good writing skills and attention to detail.
• Organized, able to manage multiple small tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create content for social media, newsletters and campaigns.
• Design simple marketing collaterals for programmes, courses and events.
• Support event promotion, from planning posts to on-the-ground coverage.
• Update our website and keep social media content scheduled and consistent.
• Assist with basic marketing admin, including tracking engagement and compiling reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and partners on marketing materials and signage.
• Support internal communications, such as newsletters or updates to staff and volunteers.
• Pitch in on ad hoc projects as our marketing needs come up.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• To create content for social media, newsletters and marketing campaigns
• To design simple marketing collaterals for programmes, courses and events
• To support event promotion, from planning posts to on-the-ground coverage

• To assist with basic marketing admin, including tracking engagement and compiling reports

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Interest in marketing, communications or nonprofit work
• Comfortable with social media platforms and basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe
• Good writing skills and an eye for detail
• Organized and able to manage multiple small tasks at once
• Proactive, and comfortable asking questions or flagging problems early
• Interest in health, community work or the nonprofit sector is a plus
• You will get hands-on experience across the full marketing function, working directly with our team and seeing your work reach the community we serve.
