Job summary

OH! Open House is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to help share our stories through arts marketing, communications, public relations, and audience development. You'll work closely with the Marketing Supervisor to gain hands-on experience.

In a small team, you’ll follow projects from concept to launch, learning how arts programmes are developed, marketed, and experienced by audiences. If you’re curious, creative, and eager to tell stories about culture and community, we’d love to hear

Qualifications

• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Creative, resourceful, and eager to learn.
• Interest in the arts, culture, heritage, and community engagement.
• Familiarity with social media platforms.
• An eye for design and experience with design or content-creation software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing marketing and communications campaigns for programmes and events.
• Assist with content creation and copywriting, including EDMs, social media content, website updates, and marketing collateral.
• Assist with audience development, sales initiatives, and B2B outreach.
• Support documentation, photography, and content gathering during programmes and events.
• Assist the team with programme delivery and on-site event operations when required.

We're looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern to help share these stories with wider audiences. Working closely with the Marketing Supervisor, you'll gain hands-on experience in arts marketing, communications, public relations, and audience development.

As part of a small team, you'll have the opportunity to follow projects from concept to launch, gaining first-hand experience in how arts programmes are developed, marketed, and experienced by audiences.
