Job summary

CGS International Securities Pte. Ltd. invites university students for a structured internship in Singapore, focusing on banking relationships and treasury operations. You will assist onboarding of new banking partners and KYC documentation, and help with bank account openings.

Job Responsibilities
1. Banking Relationship & Treasury Projects

Gain hands-on exposure to corporate treasury operations by supporting the onboarding of new banking partners, including leading Chinese banks.

Assist in preparing Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation and onboarding requirements for banking relationship establishment.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and banking partners to drive smooth onboarding and account setup processes.

Learn how multinational organizations manage banking relationships across different markets and jurisdictions.

2. Bank Account Opening & Management

Support the end-to-end bank account opening process for corporate entities across the region.

Prepare, organize, and track account opening documentation to ensure timely completion.

Work closely with internal teams and banking representatives to monitor progress and resolve documentation-related queries.

Gain valuable insight into corporate banking operations and compliance requirements.

3. Digital Banking & Access Governance

Participate in reviews of user access rights across multiple online banking platforms, contributing to security and governance initiatives.

Maintain banking access records and support audit readiness activities.

Partner with stakeholders across Finance and Treasury to validate user access and support process improvements.

Develop an understanding of risk management, internal controls, and banking compliance frameworks.

4. Treasury Reporting & Data Analysis

Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly treasury reports used for management and business reviews.

Gather, organize, and analyze data from various sources to support reporting accuracy.

Assist in creating presentations and reporting materials for internal stakeholders.

Build practical skills in data management, reporting, and financial analysis.

5. Process Improvement & Transformation Initiatives

Work alongside Treasury professionals to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.

Document current workflows and contribute ideas to enhance operational efficiency.

Support implementation of practical solutions that improve productivity and governance.

Gain exposure to continuous improvement and transformation projects within a global finance environment.

Job Requirements:
  • Currently studying in the university
  • MS Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint Advance MS Excel, Power Point, Treasury Management System, familiarity with bank platforms (Internet Banking/FX)
