ING WB Asia Internship Programme 2027 in Singapore invites students to join the Finance department, Product Control, for a 6-month period (January–June 2027). You’ll gain hands-on experience in daily P&L reporting, valuation control, and IFRS reporting within ING’s regional hub.
As part of a collaborative team, you’ll support various desks (Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities) with data analysis, risk assessment and process improvement.

We offer different internship opportunities in different departments and locations of our Wholesale bank. This vacancy focuses on positions within the FM Product Control function.
Product control is critical to safeguarding financial integrity and regulatory compliance, managing operational risks, and enabling informed decision making across trading activities. Under Product Control, the team ensures that the valuation of financial instruments, balance sheet, and profit and loss of trading and banking books within Financial Markets are measured, controlled and reported in accordance to IFRS accounting and regulatory standards.
Singapore is the regional hub for ING, including for product control activities. There are a number of different Financial Markets desks controlled/supported by Product Control including Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities, Structured products, Non‑linear derivatives, etc. The internship would cover:
There would be exposure to policies and procedures governing this desk, which in turn are based on a number of items including SOX, audit, IFRS accounting standards, regulations, bank’s risk management philosophy, current economic climate, etc.
Exposures to various Financial Market businesses which includes their respective P&L attribution, product control and valuation management framework within the bank.
