Job summary

The Ministry of National Development in Singapore is offering an internship to support the design and delivery of training and capability development programmes for local and international participants, including mid-career officers in the Singapore Public Service.

You will gain exposure to public sector learning and development, stakeholder engagement, and programme management while contributing to knowledge exchange and capability building.

Qualifications

• Proactive and adaptable individuals who enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Able to work effectively under pressure with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred but not mandatory: experience in organising events, programmes or workshops; public speaking, facilitation or customer engagement experience; familiarity with multimedia tools, digital learning platforms or AI applications in training and development.

Responsibilities

• Programme Coordination & Administration- Support scheduling, coordination and delivery of training programmes and learning journeys.
• Liaise with speakers, trainers, and external partners and coordinate programme requirements.
• Procurement & Operational Support- Assist in administrative and vendor coordination for programme delivery.
• Evaluation & Data Analysis- Compile participant feedback and programme evaluation results, and prepare improvement reports.
• Participant Engagement- Support participant management throughout the programme lifecycle and communicate professionally with stakeholders.
• Other Responsibilities- Support ad hoc projects related to training and development.

What the role is:

Join the team in supporting the design and delivery of training and capability development programmes for both local and international participants.As an intern, you will support us in the planning and execution of customised training programmes for mid-career officers in the Singapore Public Service, as well as capacity-building programmes for foreign government officials from Southeast Asia.This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to public sector learning and development, stakeholder engagement, and programme management while contributing to meaningful initiatives that support knowledge exchange and capability building.

What you will be working on:

• Programme Coordination & Administration- Support the scheduling, coordination and execution of training programmes and learning journeys.- Assist in programme logistics, participant registration and event administration.- Monitor programme timelines and ensure smooth delivery of activities.
• Stakeholder & Resource Person Management- Liaise with speakers, trainers, resource persons and external partners.- Coordinate programme requirements and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
• Procurement & Operational Support- Support procurement-related activities and vendor coordination.- Assist in administrative and operational arrangements for programme delivery.
• Evaluation & Data Analysis- Compile and analyse participant feedback and programme evaluation results.- Prepare reports and recommendations to improve future programme offerings.
• Participant Engagement- Support participant management throughout the programme lifecycle.- Build positive relationships with participants and stakeholders through professional communication and service delivery.
• Other Responsibilities- Support ad hoc projects and assignments related to training and development.
