Job summary

Autodesk Singapore is seeking a DevOps Engineer intern to help build and support the cloud services ecosystem for AutoCAD products. You will join a team that designs, deploys, and maintains cross-platform cloud solutions using Python, Django, Java, AWS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, and Docker across multiple products.

The internship runs 11 January to 25 June 2027 with an on-site recruitment drive from 9 October to 6 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's program in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Penultimate or final year, graduating in 2027 or 2028.
• Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms.
• DevOps and architecture methodologies.
• Knowledge of Docker environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Position Overview

AutoCAD, the leading software for Computer-Aided Design, is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer intern to join our team to build and support the entire cloud services ecosystem for our various products.

You will be part of a team of DevOps engineers that build, expand, and maintain the multiple cloud solutions for the multi-platform AutoCAD application that serves millions of users.

You’ll be working with modern technology stacks, including Python, Django, Java, AWS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Docker and more.

On-site in-person recruitment drive starts from 9 October - 6 November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Research and recommend the best approach to solve a given problem.
• Take part in the research, design, development, deployment, and monitoring of cross-platform AutoCAD features – bringing a centralized backend perspective to the table.
• Adoption of best practices and market-standard technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside of the team.

• You love the exposure to develop scalable cloud service on scalable AWS infrastructure.
• You are great at communicating your findings both orally and visually.
• You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectually as a member of team with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

• You must be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Program in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant fields.
• You must either be in your penultimate or final year of studies, and will be graduating in 2027 or 2028.
• Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms.
• Understanding & constant curiosity of best practice.
• DevOps and architecture methodologies.
• Knowledge of Docker environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently.

Internship period: 11 January - 25 June 2027 (fixed dates).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS-based architecture.
• Great programming skills (Python, JavaScript, Node.js,…).
• Previous back-end development experience.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management tools and cloud automation.
• Experience defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity…).
