Autodesk Singapore seeks a highly motivated DevOps Engineer intern to join our cloud services team, building and supporting the cloud ecosystem for AutoCAD products. You’ll work with Python, Django, Java, AWS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Docker and more, in a multi-platform AutoCAD environment. On-site recruitment runs 9 Oct–6 Nov 2026.

You’ll research, design, deploy, and monitor backend features, collaborate across teams, and adopt market-standard DevOps practices to scale cloud services on AWS.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's program in Computer Science or Engineering or related field.
• Penultimate or final year (graduating 2027 or 2028).
• Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms.
• DevOps and architecture methodologies.
• Knowledge of Docker environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Position Overview

AutoCAD, the leading software for Computer-Aided Design, is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer intern to join our team to build and support the entire cloud services ecosystem for our various products. You will be part of a team of DevOps engineers that build, expand, and maintain the multiple cloud solutions for the multi-platform AutoCAD application that serves millions of users. You’ll be working with modern technology stacks, including Python, Django, Java, AWS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Docker and more. On-site in-person recruitment drive starts from 9 October - 6 November 2026

Responsibilities

• Research and recommend the best approach to solve a given problem
• Take part in the research, design, development, deployment, and monitoring of cross-platform AutoCAD features - bringing a centralized backend perspective to the table
• Adoption of best practices and market-standard technologies and methodologies
• Collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside of the team

This internship might be for you if

• You are passionate about software development and technologies
• You are comfortable working in newly forming ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are key skills
• You love the exposure to develop scalable cloud service on scalable AWS infrastructure
• You are great at communicating your findings both orally and visually
• You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectually as a member of team with minimal supervision

Minimum Qualifications

• You must be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Program in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant fields
• You must either be in your penultimate or final year of studies, and will be graduating in 2027 or 2028
• Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
• Understanding & constant curiosity of best practice
• DevOps and architecture methodologies
• Knowledge of Docker environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently

Internship period: 11 January - 25 June 2027 (fixed dates)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS-based architecture
• Great programming skills (Python, JavaScript, Node.js,…)
• Previous back-end development experience
• Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management tools and cloud automation
• Experience defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity…) #LI-AA1
