Workplace Designer
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the management of design related elements of new and existing facility projects. They will report to the regional design lead and have an open dialogue to the various senior members of the RE&D teams across the region. The successful candidate will assist with moves and changes across the region and help maintain a level of consistency of the look and feel across our facilities. They will assist to prepare test fits required for new facilities and support the incorporation of the new global design guidelines into our workplaces.
This role will include but not limited to:
FF&E
- Review and propose updates
- Work with the suppliers and obtain latest catalogues and samples where appropriate
- Review existing task furniture solutions and update any particular user feedback
Projects- Assist with the technical due diligence process
- Prepare high level test fit plans in CAD and / or Revit
- Support the design process for each project
- Assist with business unit engagement meetings during each project
- Assist with quality of documentation from consultant to ensure fully detailed and coordinated
- Assist with the review of all contractor shop drawings
- Support the materials selection and review process
- Assist in preparation of project reports
- Liaise with partner functions such as Corporate Procurement
Moves and Changes- Assist when possible the in-region geography leads with any moves, adds or changes to facilities maintaining a consistent look and feel
- Prepare initial test fit plans in CAD
- Support the design review process
Qualifications & Experience:- Degree qualified
- Min 5 years relevant Architectural experience
- Interior design management experience considered advantageous
- LEED Accredited considered advantageous
- Certifications in related fields considered advantageous
- Understand the business of corporate Real Estate in a dynamic Multi-national environment
- Ability to assist with specialist interior design resources either individually or as teams on projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills using Photoshop, Keynote
- Ability to work with CAD and / or Revit
- Understanding of the various codes and statutory requirements governing interior fit outs across the region
- Self-starter and capable individual contributor
- Participate in strategic real estate discussions about how the space will be used in the future
- Support Singapore based facility projects
