Job Summary:
The Interior Designer & Sales Specialist will be responsible for designing creative and functional spaces while driving sales by converting leads into successful projects. This role requires a unique blend of artistic vision, technical skill, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interior Design:
- Develop creative design concepts and space planning solutions that meet client needs and preferences.
- Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and mood boards.
- Select appropriate materials, furnishings, and finishes.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design implementation.
- Sales & Client Engagement:
- Identify potential clients and generate leads.
- Conduct client consultations to understand requirements and preferences.
- Present design concepts and proposals with clarity and confidence.
- Negotiate contracts, close sales, and achieve sales targets.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Oversee the execution of design projects, including site visits and quality checks.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for material procurement and installation.
- Trend Analysis & Research:
- Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technology.
- Participate in design workshops, exhibitions, and networking events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in interior design and sales (minimum 2-3 years).
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and detail-oriented design.
