Job description

Responsibilities Include:

1. Design Leadership & Vision:

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive design vision for all projects.
  • Create innovative and functional interior design concepts that meet client needs and project objectives.
  • Stay abreast of current design trends and industry best practices.

2. Project Management:

  • Oversee all phases of the design process, from concept development to installation.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure quality control.

3. Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of interior designers and support staff.
  • Assign tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding new design staff.

4. Client Communication & Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Conduct client consultations to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Present design concepts and proposals effectively.
  • Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction.

5. Technical & Administrative Tasks:

  • Develop and maintain furniture and finish standards.
  • Review construction drawings and specifications.
  • Manage budgets and procurement processes.
  • Utilize design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
