Job summary

Cosmos Recruit Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Interior Designer to support residential and commercial fit-out projects in a design-focused studio. The role emphasizes precise technical drawings, space planning, and concept development, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will work on AutoCAD-based drawings, mood boards, material palettes, and client presentations, coordinating with senior designers and project teams in a fast-paced on-site environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Spatial Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant interior design or design-and-build experience will have an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Able to prepare clear technical drawings, including plans, elevations and basic detailing.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D rendering software or material sourcing will be an advantage.
• Applicants are encouraged to submit a design portfolio together with their application.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
• Translate design concepts and client requirements into clear and accurate technical drawing sets.
• Assist with mood boards, material palettes, finishes selections and design presentations.
• Revise drawings and design information based on project requirements, design development and feedback.
• Support site measurements, site visits and design documentation where required.
• Coordinate with senior designers, contractors, suppliers and project teams on drawing and design-related matters.
• Maintain proper filing and organisation of drawings, materials, project documents and design references.
• Keep updated on current interior design trends, materials, finishes and spatial planning ideas.
