Job summary

Lead 8 Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Interior Designer to develop concept designs and visual material for Mix-Use, Retail and Commercial projects. You will independently produce drawing packages from concept to detailed design stage and lead documentation with the drafting team.

You will brainstorm with a young, creative team to deliver unique interior designs across Asia Pacific, and you will be mentored to advance your career while collaborating with top-tier clients.

Qualifications

• A bachelor degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ relevant working experience in a large-scale design firm.
• Strong creative drive and teamwork ability.
• Experience in space planning, conceptual design, sketching and coordination.
• Experience guiding a creative team and mentoring junior members.
• Strong client presentation and storytelling skills.
• Proficient English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop concept designs and visual material with guidance from Design/Team Leader.
• Produce detailed drawing packages from concept to DD stage.
• Lead SD/DD documentation and monitor drafting team.
• Prepare presentations from concept to DD stage for clients.
• Lead client presentations and participate in project meetings.
• Mentor and coach team members to support career growth.

Interior Designer

Responsible for completing concept design ideas and related visual material including mood & sample boards for assigned projects with direction and guidance from the Design/Team Leader. Independently produce detailed drawing packages & written project specifications from concept to the detailed design stage.

What You Will Need…

• A bachelor degree in Interior Design or equivalent, with good knowledge and skills of "interior architecture"
• At least 3 years’ relevant working experience, some in a large-scale multi-discipline design firm
• A passion to be truly creative and a strong desire to work collaboratively in a team with great designers
• Strong experience in space planning/conceptual design/sketching/technical coordination and drawing production
• Previous experience of managing and developing a creative team is essential
• A passion to teach and support the younger members of the team
• Ability to independently present to clients and win their trust
• Proficient communication skills in English
