Job summary

PI Architects LLP in Singapore seeks a mid to senior interior designer to lead residential interior design projects from concept to construction. You will collaborate with project directors, develop spatial layouts, and create 3D visualizations to communicate design intent.

You will detail and coordinate drawings for tender, prepare bills of quantities, and liaise with contractors and suppliers. Proficiency in Autocad, Sketchup, and Twinmotion is preferred, with a strong eye for spatial quality

Qualifications

• A tertiary education in interior design or a related field.
• At least 2–5 years work experience in residential interior design.
• Strong eye for interior design, spatial quality, graphics, proportions and colours.
• Knowledge of timeless spatial design principles.
• Keen interest in current spatial design trends and ideas.
• Skilled in design software such as Autocad, Sketchup, Adobe and Twinmotion.

Responsibilities

• Design, detail, client manage, project manage interior design projects.
• Work closely with design director and clients to formulate design solutions.
• Design spatial solutions via floor plans, sections, elevations, 3D-visualizations.
• Design development via modelling, detailing, and prototyping.
• Prepare drawings for tender/construction.
• Prepare bills and quantities and coordinate with contractors for tender/costing.
• Manage and collaborate with contractors and builders during the construction phase for further design development and project coordination.
• Work with various suppliers to propose FFE solutions for the design.
• Involved in other design endeavours, collaborations, competitions, publications etc.

PI Architects is a tight-knit team of Architects and Designers. While most of our current work revolves around residential projects, we have also been involved in commercial, hospitality, office, retail and graphic design work.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Design, detail, client manage, project manage interior design projects. We are currently working mostly on residential projects.

Work closely with design director and clients to formulate design solutions.
