Job summary

Loft.9 Design Studio is seeking a detail-oriented In-House Interior Drafter to support our interior design and project teams. You will translate design concepts and site information into accurate technical drawings for residential interiors.

You will collaborate with interior designers, project teams, carpenters and contractors to ensure drawings are practical and site-ready, with strong emphasis on dimensions, accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in interior design, architectural or renovation drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Understanding of interior construction and carpentry detailing.
• Able to translate design concepts into technical drawings.
• Strong attention to dimensions and accuracy.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Responsible, organised and able to work closely with a team.
• Knowledge of SketchUp or other relevant design software will be an advantage.
• Singapore residential renovation experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed interior construction and technical drawings.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
• Prepare detailed carpentry and built-in furniture drawings.
• Amend drawings according to designer, client and site requirements.
• Coordinate drawing details with interior designers and project teams.
• Review site measurements and ensure drawing accuracy.
• Assist in resolving technical and construction detailing issues.
• Maintain proper organisation and documentation of drawing files.
• Ensure drawings are completed according to project schedules.
• Coordinate revisions and drawing updates throughout the project.
