Our Client is a dynamic and innovative technology-based healthcare start-up dedicated to transforming the healthcare industry. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance Interim HR Leader who will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture and development.

Position Overview: As a Freelance Interim HR Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of human resources, with a focus on employee engagement, policy development, organizational design, and acting as the primary interface between employees and management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the start-up ecosystem, bringing a wealth of experience to drive HR initiatives that align with our company's goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Engagement:
    Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
    Organize and facilitate team-building activities, training sessions, and events to strengthen the sense of community within the organization.
  2. Face of HR:
    Serve as the face of HR within the organization, providing guidance and support to employees at all levels.
    Act as a mediator and point of contact for addressing employee concerns and promoting a culture of open communication.
    Collaborate with leadership to understand business needs and align HR strategies with organizational goals.
  3. Policy and Procedure Development:
    Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
    Implement and enforce policies consistently across the organization.
  4. Organizational Design and Development:
    Work closely with leadership to assess and optimize organizational structure.
    Drive initiatives related to talent management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as an HR leader in a start-up environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and compliance requirements.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  5. Demonstrated success in implementing effective employee engagement initiatives.
  6. Experience in crafting and implementing policies and procedures.
Education And Experience:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on start-up environments.
  3. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
Duration And Work Arrangement:
  1. This is a freelance interim role with an expected duration of 12 months.
  2. The role may require a hybrid work arrangement.
