Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of interfaces design and civil works or infrastructure, from conceptualization to construction.
  • Develop and maintain an Interface Management Plan to establish processes, workflows and responsibilities.
  • Identify, assess, and document project interfaces, including technical, organizational, and contractual interfaces throughout the project life cycle.
  • Support in the development and review of technical documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure interface compatibility and alignment.
  • Ensure that all interface designs are aligned with project requirements and codes and regulations.
  • Lead resolution of interface conflicts by facilitating coordination between contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure all interface issues are addressed.
  • Conduct regular interface meetings and workshops to gather input, track progress, and address interface-related issues proactively.
  • Monitor and report on the status of project interfaces, highlight potential risks and implementing mitigation measures to maintain schedule and quality.
  • Maintain effective collaboration with construction teams, airport authorities, consultants, and third parties to ensure smooth execution of works.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and approving bodies to ensure compliance with permits and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management and/or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant engineering experience of large-scale project management, interfacing works and design experience, preferably with underground construction experience.
  • Experienced in managing interfaces for design and construction of large-scale projects, having full understanding of the design and approval process as well as BCA TFP/TOP process.
  • Strong understanding of civil and infrastructure systems and project management, preferably in the airport environment
  • Familiarity with interface management tools and industry standards within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with all relevant stakeholders.
