Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - IPO Readiness & Execution

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: CEO/Board of Directors

Job Summary

The CFO will lead the company's financial strategy, IPO preparation, and regulatory compliance. This role involves guiding the organization through its transition to a public company, managing investor relations, and ensuring financial governance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. IPO Readiness & Execution: Lead transformation for IPO, develop strategy, coordinate with investment banks, legal, and underwriters, ensure compliance with SEC, GAAP/IFRS, SOX, oversee prospectus and financial disclosures, manage audits and due diligence.
  2. Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop financial strategies, oversee planning, budgeting, risk management, optimize capital structure, provide insights to leadership, establish policies and controls.
  3. Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with investors, lead communication, represent in roadshows and earnings calls.
  4. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to reporting standards, oversee audits, manage relationships with auditors and authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of finance leadership experience, including CFO and IPO experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC, GAAP/IFRS, SOX.
  • Experience in investor relations, capital markets, fundraising.
  • Leadership, communication, strategic thinking skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in high-growth companies transitioning to public markets.
  • Relationships with investment banks and investors.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
