Interesting Opportunity Flipspaces - Assistant Vice President - Operations
Key Leadership Oversee end-to-end project management and execution for multiple commercial interior design projects across locations. Build and implement processes to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Develop and enforce SOPs across project workflows, from design conceptualization to final handover. Drive operational excellence by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing innovative solutions.Project Planning & Execution Work closely with the design and project teams to plan project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Monitor the progress of projects to ensure alignment with client expectations and delivery commitments. Implement risk management strategies to anticipate and address project-related challenges proactively. Ensure strict adherence to safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.Vendor & Supply Chain Management Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless material procurement and timely execution. Optimize the supply chain process to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Ensure quality control of materials and services provided by third-party vendors.Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary team of regional project heads, project managers, site supervisors, and operational staff. Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Identify training needs and implement development programs to upskill the operations team.Client Management & Engagement Ensure a seamless client experience throughout the project execution and post-handover phase, fostering long-term relationships. Proactively identify and address client concerns, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain high customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded in quality, timelines, and budget adherence.Financial Oversight Work with the finance team to prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring profitability across all operations Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery timelines.Maintain operational cost reports and present insights to senior management.Skills & Competencies Proven track record in managing large-scale operations Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage large teams. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage crises effectively. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
