Interesting Opportunity at Bijnis - Company Secretary
  • Company Mission: Bijnis is on a mission to solve for the large base of unorganized factories and retailers, having a strong impact on the B2B supply chain.
Core Duties:
  • Optimizing workflow procedures in the office, assisting colleagues and executives in planning and distributing information, and being the point of reference for all queries, requests, or issues.
  • Reporting to the Finance head and liaising with board members.
  • Organizing and preparing agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and AGMs.
  • Maintaining minutes and records for all meetings as per the Companies Act and applicable statutes.
  • Overseeing policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and referred for approval.
  • Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members and directors.
  • Handling correspondence, collating information, writing reports, and communicating decisions to stakeholders.
  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and taking appropriate actions.
  • Developing systems to ensure legal and statutory compliance.
  • Litigation Management: Civil Litigation, Legal Notices, and Replies.
  • Assisting the Finance & Accounting team in day-to-day operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Company Secretary in a startup, preferably involved in funding and ESOPS schemes.
  • Excellent comprehension, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset, open to working with diverse groups.
Additional Details:
  • Office Location: Mohan Estate, Delhi
  • Working Days: 6 days a week, with 2 alternate Saturdays WFH.
