Interesting Opportunity AVP/DVP - Relationship Manager - Commercial Real Sales - Bank

The RM shall be responsible for originating deals, developing financing solutions for clients, and preparing analytical models for credit underwriting and investors. RM shall collaborate with external agencies, sales, and investor teams for placements, due diligence, documentation, and final scoping. The role involves scanning the market for origination of real estate transactions across standard asset classes, high-yield deals, special situation deals, and lease rental discounting transactions from both primary and secondary markets. The RM will ideate with Promoters, CFOs, and CXOs for structuring and identifying opportunities for financing, restructuring, settlement, or advisory mandates. A good understanding of the real estate asset category is essential. The role requires continuous engagement with internal relationships, agencies, investors, and coverage teams, along with developing pitches with financing solutions and structuring acceptable credit solutions. Responsibilities also include preparing IM and analytical material for internal and external assessments, working with external agencies and investors for placements, and closing deals involving sanctions, due diligence, documentation, and funding. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, coordinating with borrowers, issuers, investors, legal counsels, rating agencies, trustees, and valuation agencies.

Qualifications include an MBA or CA with 10-15 years of experience, deep experience working with borrowers, corporates, NBFCs, investors, and funds. A proven track record in origination, structuring, and placement of real estate and high-yield deals is required. The candidate should understand investor expectations and investment philosophies, and be capable of creating deals across acquisitions, refinancing, stressed assets, PE buyouts, and lease rental discounting. Knowledge of taxation and regulatory frameworks relevant to structuring and listing is also necessary.

Key skills include strong coverage and origination capabilities, relationship management, mental flexibility, regulatory awareness, negotiation skills, self-starting attitude, and initiative. Additional skills involve financial and market analysis, deal closure, financial modeling, networking, project acquisition, real estate trend analysis, joint development, transaction structuring, investment proposals, and regulatory knowledge.

The role requires 8 to 12 years of experience, with a focus on relationship management, leadership, client servicing, conflict resolution, legal documentation, and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho. Familiarity with MIS reports, digital transformation, automation, data analytics, communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, service excellence, process innovation, customer satisfaction metrics, RERA compliance, and real estate operations is also desirable.
