OVERVIEW
Working within the Rights & Revenue Protection (RRP) team, the Intelligence Analyst will support investigations relating to the protection of Sportradar's intellectual property and revenue recovery activities across Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Africa.
The role focuses onidentifyingand assessing threats to Sportradar's content, data and commercial interests, including unauthorised data usage,piracyand intellectual property infringement. Using a range of open-source, cyber and commercial data sources, the analyst will deliver intelligence that supports enforcement activity, commercialoutcomesand strategic decision-making.
The position requires a motivated intelligence professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and supports stakeholders across the wider Sportradar Group.
THE CHALLENGE
Conduct intelligence investigations using an all-source approach across rights protection,enforcementand revenue recovery matters.
Collect,analyseand evaluate intelligence from open-source, cyber and commercial sources.
Conduct OSINT, CYBINT/DNINT and online investigations to deliver actionable intelligence and recommendations.
Identifyand investigate unauthorised use of Sportradar data, content and intellectual property across digital platforms and relevant industries.
Support investigations relating to sports betting operators, affiliates, data resellers, mediaorganisationsand other entities utilising Sportradar content and products.
Develop andmaintainintelligence holdings relating to organisations, individuals and platformsoperatingacross APAC and African markets.
Monitor emerging risks and trends relevant to intellectual property protection, piracy, sports betting, fintech-enabled gambling ecosystems, mobile betting and revenue recovery across APAC and Africa.
Conduct research and intelligence collection against regional digital ecosystems, messaging platforms, betting operators, affiliates, paymentprovidersand streaming environments.
Produce intelligence products including analytical assessments, investigative reports, link analysis, threatprofilesand stakeholder briefings.
Support enforcement and commercial recovery initiatives through intelligence development and evidential research.
Assistin the development and continuous improvement of intelligence processes,methodologiesand operating procedures.
Support collaboration with internal stakeholders, externalpartnersand industry organisations.
Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and implementation of investigative technologies and intelligence platforms.
YOUR PROFILE
2+ years' experience in intelligence, investigations, law enforcement, journalism, cyber security, financial crime, fraud, duediligenceor a related analytical field.
Experience conducting analytical investigations and producing intelligence-led outputs.
Proficient and demonstrableexpertisein OSINT, HUMINT, CYBINT/DNINT or intelligence tradecraft methodologies.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional report writing and presentation skills.
Demonstrable ability to collect, evaluate and interpret information from multiple sources and produce concise, actionable intelligence assessments.
Awareness of data protection legislation and associated implications.
Strict personal standards of confidentiality and security.
Motivated self-starter with an inquisitive and investigative mindset.
Flexible and adaptable, able to work to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Demonstrable interest in, or understanding of,regionally relevantdigital ecosystems, online communities, bettingmarketsand consumer behaviours.
Fluency in English essential. Professional workingproficiencyin Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Swahili, Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese or another relevant regional language is highly desirable.
Advantageous
Experience using intelligence analysis tools such as i2 Analyst's Notebook,Maltegoor similar.
Knowledge of the international sports betting, gaming,mediaor anti-piracy landscapes.
Professional networks or regional knowledge across APAC and/or African markets.
Experience conducting investigations relating to intellectual property infringement, brand protection, digitalpiracyor revenue recovery.
Understanding of corporate structures, beneficial ownershipresearchand due diligence methodologies.
Experience working with commercial intelligence databases and specialist investigative tools.
Relevant intelligence,investigationor analytical certifications.
Familiarity with regional digital and social media platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, QQ, Douyin, Line, KakaoTalk, Telegram, VK, Naver, Baidu, or equivalent regional ecosystems.
Understanding of betting and gaming trends across APAC and Africa, including cricket betting, esports betting, mobile-first wagering products, micro-bettingand in-play betting markets.
Knowledge of African mobile payment ecosystems and associated online gambling environments, including experience researching mobile money, app-basedpaymentsand alternative payment methods.
Experience conducting investigations involving cross-border digital businessesoperatingwithin emerging and developing markets.
Awareness of regional regulatory environments affecting sports betting, digital content, intellectual propertyprotectionand online enforcement activities.
