Job summary

Stripe is seeking an intern for its APAC Payments TechOps team based in Singapore. You will work on a real project that supports payment operations and data workflows while you learn from experienced engineers.

You will gain exposure to modern tech stacks, code review processes, and collaborative problem solving, with mentorship and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to critical financial infrastructure.

Qualifications

• A strong foundation in computer science with a degree in CS, information systems, data science, or related field.
• Some programming experience in Ruby, Go, and Python.
• Experience from internships or multi-person projects, including open source contributions.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research with mentor guidance.

Responsibilities

• Investigate system problems by examining code, queries, logs and data pipelines.
• Write production-ready code with meaningful impact on Stripe's payments.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to incorporate feedback.
• Learn quickly and communicate progress clearly with your team.
