Job summary

HUC Solutions Pte Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Instrumentation Commissioning Engineer to perform commissioning activities for vessel projects, including functional tests, dynamic commissioning, and documentation updates.

You will assist vendors' engineers, install and terminate cables, and coordinate with electrical, mechanical, piping, and commissioning teams while ensuring compliance with marine standards and project specs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holder.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning activities, such as Instrument functional tests, dynamic commissioning, completion of functional checks, and complete mark up on as-built drawings.
• Assist VENDOR’s Engineer in commissioning VENDOR’s packages.
• Carry out housekeeping and maintenance of tools and test equipment.
• Assist engineers and supervisors during vessel repair, dry-docking, conversion and new-building projects.
• Install and terminate instrument cables, junction boxes, marshalling panels and control panels.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
• Ensure instrumentation work complies with applicable marine standards, project specifications and classification requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, piping and commissioning teams.
