Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore seeks an experienced Engineer to manage and implement instrumentation systems for the process industry. You will coordinate with clients and subcontractors, prepare project schedules, and ensure adherence to engineering standards. Ideal candidates hold a degree in engineering and have 8-9 years of relevant experience, particularly in Oil & Gas.

Qualifications

• 8-9 years of experience in engineering, particularly in instrumentation systems.
• Knowledge of packaged instrumentation systems for the process industry.
• Familiar with hazardous area classifications relating to Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed engineering of analytical instrumentation systems.
• Co-ordinate project activities until final FAT and site commissioning.
• Prepare project-specific Bill of Material.

- Carry out detailed Engineering of Analytical Instrumentation Systems (Mechanical / Electrical) as per clients specifications

- Co-ordinate with clients on all project related activities until final FAT and site commissioning.

- Prepare project specific Bill of Material.

- Raise Purchase Requisitions using ERP system (SAP)

- Coordinate with Production to ensure progress to meet schedule.

- Prepare & Implement Project Production schedules.

- Manage overall project Client, project team and sub-contractors.

Job Requirement

- Degree / Diploma in Engineering, with at least 8-9 year experience.

- Knowledge in packaged instrumentation systems for the process industry.

- Proficient in common engineering standard requirements for E & I design.

- Knowledge of Instrumentation network communication, PLC programming , ACAD

- Familiar with the Hazardous area classifications related to Oil & Gas industry

- Good oral and written communication in English

- Result oriented, proactive, team player and able to work independently.
